ANCHOIS

A small pelagic fish like the sardine, the anchovy has properties similar to the latter. However, it is smaller and more slender, which allows it to be used whole and therefore to be more attractive to certain hunter fish. Its fragile flesh requires that the product be tied with very fine elastic thread to able to be cast, but it is the bait of choice for many species.
